Pileated Woodpecker In Our Birdbath
On Wednesday morning the largest woodpecker in North America dropped in to drink from our birdbath in the front yard. He stayed around for a bath too. I rarely catch more than a glimpse of these birds when I see them so this was a rare treat.

My granddaughter, Annabelle, and I spent a wonderful Thursday afternoon with our friends, Melody and Ayden. We chatted, played and wandered our friends’ 70+ acres. This young Apple tree was one of many fruit trees they have planted on their property.
